Mobile Dog Clinics in September 2009

This month we have done 4 Saturday morning Dog clinics. These clinics involve the ASPA team visiting various villages in and around Arusha to de-worm and vaccinate dogs against rabies. During these clinics we also assess the general health of the dogs and offer advice on how to improve the animals’ health and condition. We also provide educational material with detailed health and nutritional information for the owners of dogs in the poorest condition. Our schedule allows us return to each area a year after our previous visit to give booster vaccines and give de-worming medication.
